Communications and digital strategies crafted by Joshua have led to game-changing viral moments that have elevated profiles, shifted narratives, and driven tens of millions of dollars in grassroots contributions to candidates and causes.

In his corporate work, Joshua has managed digital and communications strategy for law firms, technology companies, and health care companies, focusing on positive corporate reputation, crisis management, and profile elevation.

Joshua’s political career began in college, when he ran the successful campaign to elect the first student ever to the local city council. That campaign began a lifelong fascination with how to tell stories in ways that persuade people to take action.

Joshua is frequently called for comment by major national publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, NBC News, Politico, and CNN. He graduated from the College of William and Mary, and lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with his wife Dorian and their daughters Ellie and Rory.

Joshua has advised scores of candidates for U.S. Senate, Governor, and U.S. House, across diverse cultures and languages. In 2020, Joshua was the lead communications strategist for Senator Jon Ossoff’s victory in Georgia, which secured Democrats the majority in the U.S. Senate. He held the same role for DNC Chair Jaime Harrison’s nationally recognized campaign for U.S. Senate in South Carolina.
